How do I record videos in Visere Captura?

SD Card Needed

When recording videos the videos are first recorded to an SD card on the camera and when the recording is complete, the movie file is transferred to the desktop.  Make sure you have an SD card and there is enough free space for the movie to be recorded on.

Step-by-step guide

If your camera supports video recording, follow these steps to record videos:

  1. Turn the camera to video mode.  Please make sure your camera is not in picture mode.
  2. Start Visere Captura and let it find your camera.
  3. Once the camera is found, you can enable Live View to see the object you are recording.
  4. Hover the mouse over the Video button and click on the three vertical buttons, as shown below:
  5. This brings up the video recording options

    Set the three options:
    1. The location of where the video file will be saved.
    2. Enable or disable whether the video player should be opened as soon as the file is saved.
    3. Enable or disable whether the video file location should be opened.
  6. Click Close to save the settings.
  7. Click the video button to start recording. The button will turn red to signal the recording is in progress.
  8. To stop the recording click the Video button a second time.
