How do I connect my supported Sony Camera to Visere Captura?

Please check Sony's SDK website for the supported cameras.  Visere Captura only supports the Sony cameras models listed in this link:

Step-by-step guide

This article assumes you are using the latest version of Visere Captura, Version 1.1 (Beta) or higher.  It may work with earlier versions, too.

  1. Ensure that your camera is supported by the Sony SDKs.  Look at the supported deceives via this link:

  2. Enable to Sony plugin in Visere Captura: Gearbox → About → Enable/Disable Plugins → Enable Sony Plugin.

  3. On your Sony camera: Camera Settings → Connect to PC (/SBC) → PC Remote → On and PC Remote Cnct Method → USB
  4. Set camera to capture JPG
  5. Connect the camera to your Mac via USB-3
