  1. When you start Visere Captura, you will have the option to register the software. 

    1. If you are within the first 10 days of the installation, you can continue to the main software, without registration.

    2. If you are past the 10 days demo period, then the software will force you to register.  The dialog box that shows up looks like this:
  2. Click OK that you want to start the registration process.  The following dialog will show up:
  3. The Full name, Purchaser's e-mail, and Company names are required.  These are needed so that our support team can look up and confirm your purchase.
    1. "User e-mail" is optional.  If entered, then the license file will be sent to the user's email.  Otherwise, it will be sent to Purchaser's email.
  4. Click "Request registration." You will receive a dialog asking you to confirm the proper license type selection:
  5. Click OK.  The Pictomic support team will verify the proper license type, based on your purchase, so you don't need to worry about this, too much.  If the connection to our license server is successful, you will receive a dialog confirming that you've successfully submitted your request
  6. Under certain circumstances, such as if your computer is not connected to the Internet, or a firewall prevents Visere Captura from communicating with Pictomic's license server, then you will receive the following error messages.
  7. Click OK.  In this case you will need to send the serial number to our support team.  After you click OK you will be back to the registration page:

  8. Select the full serial number listed in the "Serial number" dialog.  When the number is selected it will turn blue.
  9. Send the serial number to support@pictomic.com.  We will then issue you a license file based on the serial number.

  1. Regardless of how you request the Tutum license file (called tutum.lic) our team will be responding to you, within 72 hours, with a Tutum license file.  The license file will be coming from the email address support@dmmd.net.
  2. Once you receive the license file, via email, save the license file to your local computer.

    Please note that the license file, tutum.lic, will be sent from support@dmmd.net.  We've had many circumstances where the email with the license file has been filtered to the junk folder.  If you haven't seen the email from us, within 72 hours, please check your junk folder or contact support@pictomic.com.

  3. Restart Visere Captura and say OK to wanting to request a license file

  4. Go back to your registration dialog box and click "Choose license file ..."

  5. Select "tutum.lic" license file from the saved location and click OK.
  6. The license file should now be imported.
  7. Restart Visere Captura for the license to take effect.
